Mary Help of Christians
Throughout this week all classes from Early Stage 1 to Yr 10 have been celebrating the Feast Day of Mary Help of Christians by attending an individual class group prayers service. Mary Help of Christians is the patroness saint of Australia. During the early days of colonisation when Mass was not celebrated in Australia, Catholics would say the Rosary as a way of celebrating our faith. This has developed a long tradition of devotion to Mary in Australia.
