Western Region Athletics Carnival

Congratulations to the 42 students who competed at the Western Region Athletics Carnival last Friday. Sacred Heart hosted the carnival this year with 350 students participating from 12 schools within our region. The weather was certainly on our side, making for a glorious day.

Thank you to Mrs Trinder, Mrs McLeod, Mrs Maxwell, Mrs Gale and Mr & Mrs Winsor for your support throughout the day. A thank you to the Year 9/10 Pass Class for assisting on events throughout the day. We also appreciate the assistance parents gave on the day on events and in the canteen.

We have nine students who will now compete at the Archdiocesan Carnival in August. Congratulations to Zara Bodycott, Declan Brown, Scarlett Chambers, Josh Harris, Amarli Kelleher, Zane Lange, Lily McLeod, Nellie Ward and Jake Winsor.

Primary and Infants T-Ball Sessions

For the past four weeks, Albert from Wagga Baseball has been coming to Sacred Heart to coach Kinder-Year 6. Each class has had a session with Albert each week, learning various skills surrounding the game of T-Ball.

Transportation of students to events:

If you are transporting students, other than your own child/ren to events please ensure that the Front Office have a copy of the following:

• Drivers licence
• Compulsory Third Party Insurance
• Registration
• WWCC

(Parents are still required to provide this information even if transport is privately arranged).
