Sacred Heart Athletics Carnival

It may have been a frosty start to the morning, but the sun was shining all day for our Athletics Carnival last Wednesday. We had over 90% attendance across the three houses. Students were commended on their participation and sportsmanship throughout the whole day. Thank you to the parents and family members who came and supported students during the day. Thank you also to our wonderful staff members who managed each of the events.

Congratulations to Mercy who won the War Cry and to De La Salle who were the overall champions of the day.

Mortimer Shield

We have one girls League Tag team competing in the Mortimer Shield Grand Final today in Wagga. We wish the girls all the best as they compete today against other Riverina schools.

Rugby Union Trials

Congratulations to Josh Harris and Declan Brown who have been selected to play at the MacKillop trials on the 1^st of July in Forbes.

Archdiocesan Cross Country

18 students travelled to Canberra last Tuesday to compete in the Archdiocesan Cross Country at Mt Stromlo. Congratulations to Sacha McLeod, Jake Winsor, Victoria Clancy, Zara English, Claudia McLeod and Will English who placed in the top 6 and will compete in Sydney this Friday.

Transportation of students to events:

If you are transporting students, other than your own child/ren to events please ensure that the Front Office have a copy of the following:

• Drivers licence
• Compulsory Third Party Insurance (CTP Green Slip)
• Registration
• WWCC

(Parents are still required to provide this information even if transport is privately arranged).
