Meals On Wheels Christmas Luncheon – Volunteers and Donations Sought!
Each year Sacred Heart P & F donates time and food for the meals on wheels Christmas Luncheon as a fundraiser for our school.
This is a time the that the volunteers and the clients of Meals on Wheels are able to come together and spend time together, time that is not readily available when delivering meals throughout the year. It is such as lovely day for all involved.
The Sacred Heart students are given the task to serve meals and drinks as well as clear plates away as part of developing their leadership skills and community service.
We require about 8 people to help on the day, to prepare, plate up and clean up along with several items of donation for food or cash to purchase the food.
We would love to see some new faces this year! Don’t worry if you have never done anything like this before, we will all help each other.
A note is attached with what is required, if you are free on Thursday 6th December from 9am to anytime and can offer assistance please contact Brigid on 0417 482 863.
