On Monday, Early Stage One ventured down to the Public Library to meet the Australian Author Amelia Tonta/McInerney. Amelia shared some of her writing methods, including having her pet pup George check over her editing before sending it to her editors. She also read to us a couple of books from her collection, including her newest book, Lucky! The students loved seeing and hearing from a truly fantastic author who writes for joy and love of being creative! After, the students made their way down to Livvi's Park to eat lunch and run out some energy and making their own stories with the creatures, cave, stream and train! 

~Secondary Author Visitor~

Gabrielle Tozer, award-winning author, freelance writer and editor based in the Riverina visited Sacred Heart today, where she spoke to the secondary students about the values and different avenues of writing. Thank you to the Jugiong Writers Festival for organising this amazing experience.
