Seasons for Growth

Seasons for Growth is a program suitable for students from Yr 1 to Yr 10 and designed to educate them about the grief process. Seasons for Growth is a small group program allowing students to share with others who may be experiencing similar emotions due to loss or change (death of a loved one, parental divorce or separation, experience or aftermath of natural disaster, moving house or school or any other life changes and losses). The program is designed to teach students about the grief process with reference to the seasons. It creates an opportunity for students to talk to other students who may be experiencing similar emotions. It may assist them to process these emotions and develop strategies to cope with them.

If you would like further information or to express interest in your child/children participating in this program – please see the detailed information attached and complete the relevant forms and return to school by 24^th August 2018.
