SHC Cross Country
Thank you to the staff, students, and parents who helped to make the Cross Country a successful event. The enthusiasm and participation were lovely to see as we wind down a very busy term.
Congratulations to the students who will progress through to the Western Region level for Primary and the Canberra Goulburn level for Secondary. These students will be informed of their success very soon.

Well done to Archie Byrne who represented Sacred Heart in Canberra last Monday. Archie had a great day making it to the possible probable game. Well done Archie.
WR Cross Country
Congratulations to those students who qualified for the WR Cross Country. You will have a COMPASS event shortly. Western region cross country is on Friday week one in Batlow.
Rugby 10s
Thank you to all the parents and families that came to Harden on Tuesday to support our Rugby teams. A special thanks to Chris Friend and Scott Byrne for coaching the boys on the day. Thank you to the parents that took students and Mrs Winsor for being the teacher attending. If you have any action shots please send them to me and I will put them into the newsletter.
MacKillop Swimming
Well done to our swimmers. There were many great swims and PBs made.
Zoe Lake came 4th overall in the senior girls Backstroke with a time of 38.26, 2 seconds faster than her seeded time. 7th overall in the senior girls Butterfly with a time of 36.20, 1 second faster than her seeded time. 8th overall in the open 100m Freestyle with a time of 1:14.92, 3 seconds faster than her seeded time.
Ella Sannazzaro came 13th overall in the 50m junior girls breaststroke with a time of 56.16, 16th overall in the 50m junior girls Butterfly with a time of 59.95
Henry Manwaring came 13th overall in the 8yr boys 50m freestyle with a time of 50.48, seconds faster than his seeded time.
Fletcher Gammon came 4th overall in the 8yr boys 50 freestyle with a time of 40.98, 7 seconds faster than his seeded time.
Our junior boys relay team, Connor Winsor, Fletcher Gammon, Campbell Hardie and Jack Hazlett came 16th overall with a time of 3:01:23, 5 seconds faster than their seeded time.
Senior girls relay team, Zoe Lake, Ava Sannazzaro, Olivia Cassidy, Juliet Daley came 15th overall with a time of 2:42:60, 2 seconds faster than their seeded time.
Mortimer Shield/Trent Barrett
This year both stage two/three league/league tag days will be held on the same day. This will be on the 8th of May in Junee. There will be a bus made available for students who need transport. Please give permission for this event though COMPASS. If you are able to assist on the day please complete the questions on the compass event.
C & G Sporting Representatives
This program is an opportunity for our stage 3 students to trial and represent their sport at a higher level. It is up to parents to register for these events. Athletics
Our SHC Athletics carnival is again set for early term 2, therefore we will start trialling and learning how to perform some of these events from week 6 this term. These will include, High Jump, Discus, Long Distance running, Long Jump and Shot Put. The top 8-10 students for High Jump and Discus will compete on the day. Students will be given the opportunity to practise and improve on these throughout the weeks.

Secondary Sport
CECG and Wagga Wagga U15 Boys and U18s Boys and Girls Touch
Well done to Jett Johnson, Zane Lange who trialled for the U15s CG/Wagga Touch team and Willow Hall who trialled for the U18s CG/Wagga Touch team.
Congratulations to Willow Hall for making the team. She will join Sophie Boxsell and Sophie Sannazaro (U15 Girls CG Touch Team) at the NSWCCC trials in Term 2.
NSWCCC Swimming
Well done to Halle Johnson and Sam Savanah for representing Canberra Goulburn Diocese at the NSWCCC Swimming.

50m Breaststroke - 16th place 41.29 (PB)
Halle swam in the:
100m Backstroke - 3rd place 1:10.99 (4 second PB) - progresses to NSW All Schools
50m Freestyle - 5th place 28.69 (PB)
50m Backstroke - 2nd place 32.25 (PB) - progresses to NSW All Schools
50m Butterfly - 7th place 31.48 (PB)
100m Freestyle - 5th place 1:03.22 (PB)
Congratulations to Halle for her Silver and Bronze medals and for making the NSWCCC team to compete at the NSW All Schools Swimming Championships in May.
