UNIFORM FREE DAY
NEXT WEDNESDAY 6TH NOVEMBER
MONEY RAISED WILL BE FOR SOCKTOBER
All students are asked to bring along a gold coin donation for Uniform Free and any loose change to participate in a special coin toss. Students will have the opportunity to win prizes if their coin toss lands within a ‘standing’ sock. Prizes will also be offered for the craziest ways to wear socks. Please support this significant charity fundraiser.
Head Lice
There have been cases of head lice reported in your child’s class. Please check your child/ren’s hair for any sign of nits or lice. A simple way to check is to put a generous amount of conditioner on damp hair and then comb through with a nit comb. The conditioner stuns the lice for about 20 minutes, which gives you time to detect any nits or lice in the hair.
This does not kill them.
This check should be carried out on a regular basis,
it is quick, easy and effective.
If detected, you will need to treat the hair with a treatment.
A natural treatment is to use olive oil in damp hair, leave in for a few hours or overnight and then comb with a nit comb.
