Stage One League Tag 

Stage one had a great day at their league tag gala day. They faced other Cootamundra teams and learned new skills. Thankyou to those parents who came and assisted and cheered on the teams. A big thank you to our year 9 PASS class who were coaches. Even though they were covered in mud by the end of the day, all reports were positive. 

CG Athletics Carnival

Goodluck to our Athletics team who will travel to Canberra's AIS stadium next Tuesday. We will publish the results once they are made available. Our team includes:

Boorowa Touch Netball carnival

An event is available, through compass for the annual Boorowa touch and netball carnival. If your child is interested in going please complete the consent form as soon as possible so that we can arrange, staff, transport etc. The date is Friday the 20th October.

Stage 1 League Tag Coaches

Congratulation to the students who helped coach and manage teams at the Stage 1 League Tag Gala day last week. We have had wonderful reports from onlookers about how efficient and positive they were with the younger students. Well done.

Katrina Fanning Cup

Congratulations to the students who attended the Katrina Fanning Cup on Thursday. Thank you to Mel Simmons, Lyne Witenden, Alicia and Stephen Willoughby for assisting with the teams.

U14s Results

Rd 1 Vs Gundagai - 14-10 Loss

Rd 2 Vs Hay - 28-4 Win

Placed 2nd in the pool

Play-off - Vs St Annes - 38-4 Loss

This placed them 4th overall

U16s Results

Rd 1 Vs Hennessey - 10-10 Draw 

Rd 2 Vs Temora High - 18-18 Draw

Placed 2nd in the pool

Semi Final - Vs Tumut High - 32-6 Win

This placed them 3rd overall

16s Team

Girls U16s NSWCCC Rugby League Trials

Congratulations to Josey Hoey for attending the NSWCCC U16 Girls Rugby League Trials in Sydney this week. Josey made her debut in the first game but unfortunately sustained an injury that ruled her out from further participation. Im sure she will have her moment next next year. 

Congratulations to Mr John Murray who coached the Southern Country team at these trails. He and his team wont the competition for the second year in a row.

Representative Sports

A reminder to keep checking the Secondary Sports Google Classroom page and Compass for all notifications and processes for registration for the many representative sports coming up this term.

Attendance at Extracurricular Sporting Events

Attending extracurricular events as a Sacred Heart Representative is a privilege. Please be aware that students with poor attendance, behaviour and/or with incomplete tasks and class work will not be allowed to attend these opportunities. For students who are away for any reason or who do attend these opportunities, it is an expectation that missed work is caught up and completed within a reasonable time frame after returning to school.
