Primary Sport

Rugby 10s 

Thank You to those who participated yesterday in our Rugby 10s competition. Everyone showed great respect and sportsmanship. Congratulations to the Sage Three team who qualified for the next round, in Wagga on the 4th of May. Stage Two played well throughout the day and learnt new skills.

NSWCPS swimming

A big congratulations to our swimmers who participated yesterday in the Mackillop Championships. As a result; The junior girls relay team came in 13th overall, with 3 PBs. The senior boys relay team came in 4th overall, a great achievement. Further results will be announced in next week's newsletter. 

CG soccer trials

Good luck to Beau Mills, Lucas Walker, Emerson Jones, Oliver Daley and Eamon Sutherland who will travel to Canberra on Monday to try out for the CG soccer team. We wish them all the best. 

Secondary Sport

Canberra Goulburn Netball Gala Day and U15s Trials

This gala day has been postponed. A new date will be finalised soon. The girls trialing for the CG U15s team will now have a separate trial on Thursday 6th April at the ACT Netball Indoor Courts, Northbourne Ave ACT from 10 am -12 pm.

Western Rugby League Trials

Well done to Ben Piffero for trialling for the U15s Western Rugby League team in Forbes on Wednesday.

NSWCCC Swimming

Congratulations to Jake Winsor, Ellie Lake, Ashlee Peacey, Caitlyn Cram, Halle Johnson, Emma Simmons, Sarah Harris, Nellie Ward and Isobel Cram for their efforts in the NSWCCC Swimming Championships on Friday 31st March in Sydney. There were some amazing times swum by our students, many PBs and some National qualifying times in 2 events by Jake Winsor. Congratulations to Halle Johnson who progresses is now in the NSWCCC Swimming team to compete at the NSW All Schools Swimming Championships.

Representative Sports

A reminder to keep checking the Secondary Sports Google Classroom page for all notifications and processes for registration for the many representative sports coming up this term.

Attendance at Extracurricular Sporting Events

Attending extracurricular sporting events as a Sacred Heart Representative is a privilege not a right. Please be aware that students with poor attendance, behaviour and/or with incomplete tasks and class work will not be allowed to attend these opportunities. For students who are away for any reason or who do attend these opportunities, it is an expectation that missed work is caught up and completed within a reasonable time frame after returning to school.
