Rugby 10s

Invites to attend this year's rugby 10s, on the 30th of March, have gone out on compass. Please see your events and accept or decline this invitation by Wednesday 22nd. The brumbies will be coming in on this day to train at lunchtime and we will be practising Thursday lunchtimes the two weeks prior to this event. If your child wishes to play and didn’t receive an invite please let me know.

CG Rugby League

Congratulations to those students who headed to Canberra on Tuesday to represent Sacred Heart in the Rugby League trials. All students showed a high level of sportsmanship. As a result Ned Hazlett Has been selected to represent Canberra Goulburn in the under 11s team and Jett Johnson and Jake Harris in the under 12s. They will head back to Canberra on the 5th May for the MacKillop trials. Congratulations boys.

C & G Sporting Representatives

This program is an opportunity for our stage 3 students to trial and represent their sport at a higher level. It is up to parents to register for these events. A reminder to keep checking the Secondary Sports Google Classroom page for all notifications and processes for registration for the many representative sports coming up this term.

Good Luck

Best of luck to Year 10 girls going to the Opens Girls League Tag in Young on Thursday 23rd March.

Elouera Swimming Carnival

Congratulations and thank you to the Physical Activity and Sport Studies (PASS) class for facilitating the Elouera Swimming Carnival on thursday. All involved had a lovely time playing games and enjoying some races and friendly competitions.

Attending extracurricular sporting events as a Sacred Heart Representative is a privilege not a right. Please be aware that students with poor attendance, behaviour and/or with incomplete tasks and class work will not be allowed to attend these opportunities. For students who are away for any reason or who do attend these opportunities, it is an expectation that missed work is caught up and completed within a reasonable time frame after returning to school.
