Compass and Consent for all Events.
This year we are using Compass for all events. You will need to accept invitations and give consent for all sporting events. Please show some courtesy with this and provide consent in a timely fashion. The morning/night of an event is not ideal as we need to provide adequate supervision at all times. I understand we are all still learning to use this App/function, if you are having any issues please contact the school and we can assist you.
Events such as our Triathlon, Cross Country and Athletics events are considered compulsory and consent is not required.
Primary Sport
Please remember to send students with hats and water on sports days.
Soccer Gala Day
Thank you to all the students who participated in this day. Even though it was quite warm, students showed sportsmanship and respect on the field. Thank You to those who lent shin pads and boots out to others, these kinds of events can not run without kind gestures.

Triathlon
Thursday we saw our annual Triathlon. Students had a great day with the focus on participation. Students swam, rode and ran to the best of their abilities. It was great to see so many parents come down and cheer on all the competitors.

Athletics
Our SHC Athletics carnival is again set for early term 3, week 5, therefore we will start trialling and learning how to perform some of these events from week 6 this term. These will include, High Jump, Discus, Long Distance Running, Long Jump and Shot Put. The top 6-8 students for High Jump and Discus will compete on the day. Students will be given the opportunity to practise and improve on these throughout the coming weeks.
C&G Sporting Representatives
This program is an opportunity for our stage 3 students to trial and represent their sport at a higher level. It is up to parents to register for these events. If you have missed the closing date, please let us know and we will contact the organisers. Please go to https://csnsw.sport/sports/nswccc to register for any of these events.
Primary Sport Dates
If you have any photos from any event please email them through and we will put them in the newsletter next week.
If you have any concerns or questions please don’t hesitate to contact me via email
Kind regards
